Description
Spend time in the company of this remarkable woman, in this 650th anniversary year of her visions.
“A Wondrous Mix of Well and Woe” is an online retreat, led by Sarah, which will help us gently and creatively explore our own mix of well and woe, and Jesus’ presence amongst it. The retreat will be available to enjoy at your leisure in your own space from Wed 18th October.
Booking is essential to ensure that you have access to the resources we will be using during the session.
If you are local to Norwich and would like to indulge in some more Julian time, then why not consider the following options too ~
“Love is the Meaning” Wed 18th Oct—Thur 16 Nov, 10am-3pm daily, St John’s, Timberhill, Norwich
This exhibition leads you on a short walk between three Norwich churches, St John’s Church Timberhill, Julian’s Church Rouen Road & St Stephen’s Church Rampant Horse Street, the places most connected with Julian when she lived in Norwich 650 years ago. Inside the venues you will find modern artworks that truly challenge you to look again at Julian’s words.
‘Oneing’ – The theme of October’s Together Service, 7pm, 22nd Oct, Mulbarton Church (NR14 8JS)
Short, reflective night prayers exploring Julian’s idea of oneing, by candlelight, in Mulbarton Church.
I am planning to make a weekend of it, participating myself in the retreat on Friday 20th, visiting the exhibition on Sat 21st Oct and then hosting the Together Service on Sun 22nd Oct. If you would like to join me in Norwich on the Saturday, please get in touch.
I very much hope you can discover some Julian riches at this special time, and I look forward to sharing the discoveries with you.
